Do you have your MPL library card yet?
A Missoula Public Library borrower’s card is available to any individual resident of the State of Montana who completes the borrower’s registration form and shows one piece of identification. A photo ID is preferred. You can begin your application process online. New patrons will receive a temporary library card and check out two items immediately. Once we've received proof of address, new patron's borrowing privileges become permanent and you will be able to check out as many items as you want. Your MPL library card can be used at any of our Partner libraries across the state of Montana! Please keep in mind, though, that new patrons under the age of 15 must have a parent or guardian’s signature or permission to apply for a library card. MPL accepts a parent or guardian’s signature as proof of address.
