Book Discussion Groups at MPLThe MPL Book Group meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in the Small Meeting Room. Discussion titles include a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction. Marina Singh is a researcher for a pharmaceutical company in Minnesota. When a colleague is sent to the Amazon to connect with rebelling field scientist Annick Swenson and is reported dead, Marina must retrace his journey to find out what happened. Confronted by heat, the dangers of the jungle, and her complicated past with Swenson, Marina is forced to reevaluate her convictions regarding science, technology, and self. Seeley Lake Branch The Seeley Lake Book Group meets on the 3rd or 4th Saturday of each month at 11:00am.
