Book Discussion Groups:

MPL's Second Tuesday Book Group

The second Tuesday Book Group will meeet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 pm as well as the second Thursday at 10 am in the Small Meeting Room. Copies of the books will be available at the Check-Out Desk throughout the month prior to the discussion.

May:

Join in a discussion of Thomas Savage’s The Power of the Dog, Montana’s first gay cowboy novel, set in 1920s Horse Prairie. Thursday, May 8 at 10:00 am. and Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00 pm.

Third Thursday Book Club

Once a month the Third Thursday Book Club discusses a new book. Sponsorship of this program is courtesy of the Friends of the Missoula Public Library. They purchase multiple copies of the selected titles and provide them for Book Club Members at cost.
