Special Activities

Special events occur throughout the year. You can watch for these during National Library Week in April; National Hispanic Heritage Month in October and National Library Card Sign-up Month and Banned Books Week in September.

Recent events include PAWS for Reading, foreign language story times, make and take crafts, and our now-annual Christmas Cookie Decorating and Craft event.

Information about upcoming events can be found at the library, on our website, and through many mainstream media sources.

In April we had our first ever Teddy Bear Sleepover!

Children brought their teddies and other bedtime friends to the library
and listened to stories, had a snack, and played with their friends.

Then the children said goodnight and the little animals were left to have fun in the library. And what fun they had!

We hope to have another Teddy Bear Sleepover very soon!
