       Waves at your Library     

Make Waves at the Library every Wednesday at 2pm starting on June 23rd.

As part of the Family Reading Program the Young Adult Librarians have planned a summer full of great events.

Be sure and stop by the YA Desk to pick up your BINGO Card and permission forms for the Lock-in Party (see below)

Programs are for Teens only: entering grades 7-12

June 23    River Sports with 10,000 Waves   

June 30    Eclipse release party

July 7       Lifeguarding with the YMCA

July 14     Water color art

July 21     Book-Club-in-a-Raft

July 30     Lock-in-Party (advance registration required; you must complete a BINGO card & parental permission form no later than July 14, see the YA desk)

Regularly scheduled YA Programs

Scribbles
Thursday June 17 at 4 p.m. Grades 7-9. Share your creative writing and take part in fun exercises. In the small meeting room, lower level.

Writers Group
Fridays at 3:30-5:30 p.m. Grades 10-12. Share your writing and hear what others are doing. In the small meeting room.

NewVolunTeens : volunteer at the library
3rd Tuesdays, next meeting is June 15 at 4-6 p.m.
Do you have what it takes to be a teen volunteer? Come learn what you can do at the library. Sign up ahead at the YA desk, or call 721-2665. Grades 7-12.

Teens ONLY : advisory board, Game On!, Those Literary Kids Book Group, and Teen Media Lab are all on Summer Break. Stay tuned for fall start-up dates.
