Stories of eight historical figures who changed Montana, the U.S. and the world through their efforts in arts innovation, service and historic preservation.\n \nJune 23\nA Marxist, a Martyr, and a Murder: The Stanford Family\nSpeaker: Maria Greer. One of the world’s most prestigious institutions of higher learning was founded on a ghost story. A talk about how the very different stories of three members of the same family were forgotten, reshaped, or erased by history.\n
