Cheap Date Night

MPL’s monthly movie night is back! Come enjoy a recently released feature film during Cheap Date Night, the 3rd Friday each month in the library’s Cooper Room. Film starts at 6:30. Doors are open from 6:15-6:45 and entry after 6:45 is not allowed. Attendees must enter from the library’s parking garage, all other doors are locked.

The Fabelmans

March’s film is The Fabelmans, a coming-of-age drama directed by Steven Spielberg. The film is a semi-autobiographical story loosely based on Spielberg’s adolescence and first years as a filmmaker, told through an original story of the fictional Sammy Fabelman, a young aspiring filmmaker who explores how the power of films can help him see the truth about his dysfunctional family and those around him. Running time is 151 minutes.

Ticket to Paradise

April’s film is Ticket to Paradise, a romantic comedy starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts as a divorced couple who team up to sabotage the impending wedding of their daughter in Bali. Running time is 104 minutes.
