Intro to 10-Minute Playwriting

Interested in playwriting? Join us for this introductory workshop series held on Monday evenings, May 8, 15, 22, June 5 and 12 from 6-7:30 PM in the Blackfoot Room. Participants will read an array of short plays and learn the elements of plot structure, how to craft realistic dialogue and vibrant characters, and how to write/use stage directions in their work, as they devise and write their own 10-minute play. Since these workshops build on each other, we ask that you plan to attend all five sessions, with the last session dedicated to a shared reading of participants’ work.
