A cooking demonstration on healthy cooking and preparation of traditional indigenous foods with All Nations Health Center. Learn about the nutritional and cultural benefits of an indigenous diet with this pre-recorded program and sample some tasty recipes
During the course of Sqelixʷ ‘Salish’ Storytelling, Aspen and Cameron Decker speak about storytelling, the life lessons that they teach, and Indigenous geographical knowledge of Montana and Salish aboriginal territory.
During the course of A̓stqʷ: Salish Cedar Bark Baskets, Aspen and Cameron Decker speak about the process of making the basket, the issues that it brings up in regards to making the object (environment, sustainability, culture), and what that reveals about the place we are in as contemporary Native American people.
