Downtown Building Occupancy to Increase
The Missoula Public Library Board of Trustees has approved an incremental and phased approach to fully reopening the Library at 455 E Main. Beginning June 1, 150 visitors will be allowed in the building each hour. Beginning June 15, 200 visitors will be allowed each hour, and meeting rooms will be available for public use under each room’s COVID occupancy limit. Meeting rooms must be reserved in advance by calling the Library at (406)721-2665. On July 1, the Library will be open to the full capacity it was designed to accommodate, with no limitations on the duration of a visit.
Each step of this phased approach will be made in consultation with County officials, and is contingent on the progress Missoula County continues to make with vaccination and infection rates.
