A Warm Fire Within: Yoga & Meditation for Kids

Join Jess Matthiae from Peaceful Heart Yoga for a 15 minute, fun-filled yoga and mindfulness session for kids! Designed for ages 3 – 8, we will use engaging breathing techniques, creative movements and story to dive inward and stoke our inner fire and practice the concept of coziness.

A Warm Fire Within: Yoga & Meditation for Adults

Join Jess Matthiae from Peaceful Heart Yoga for a 30 minute adult yoga and meditation session designed to soothe your weary bones. 2020 was quite a year, and now as the cold weather creeps in, we can all benefit from a little coziness. Yoga, meditation and mindfulness are the perfect tools to find that feeling of “hygge” (comfort, coziness) from the inside out. Use these yoga tools to create a comforting, bright, warm fire in yourself to keep the chill off this year.

Jess Matthiae is a certified 500 hour Yoga Teacher Trainer. She’s trained with YogaKids and Street Yoga (yoga for at risk youth). Jess is also a CranioSacral Therapist (Upledger Institute) and a Reiki practitioner. She has over 14 years experience teaching children of all ages in a wide variety of settings. She is originally from Missoula and has returned after living in Maine for 10 years where she graduated from Bates College with a degree in psychology and neuroscience and music performance. Jess created Peaceful Heart LLC during the summer of 2013.
