2022 Summer Learning Program
The Summer Learning Program is part of MPL’s mission to promote children’s literacy, help prevent the “summer slide” in reading skills, and provide lifelong learning opportunities for readers of all ages. Our theme this year is Oceans of Possibilities! This program is made possible by support from the Missoula Public Library Foundation.
Starting June 1, patrons of all ages can pick up a printed reading log or set up an online reading log at Readsquared, as well as enjoy a variety of fantastic offerings as part of our Summer Learning Program “Oceans of Possibilities.”
To participate in our Summer Learning Program Reading Challenge: Choose either the Youth (17 years of age and younger) or Adult program (18+ years of age). Each have separate reading logs and instructions.
- Pick up a printed reading log at the library or choose to log your reading through Readsquared. It is not possible to combine printed and online reading logs.
- Log your summer reading for the chance to win prizes!
- You have through Aug 31 to complete your reading log.
Stay engaged in learning by attending our Oceans of Possibility events all summer long! Events are listed on the Youth and Adult program pages or visit our Calendar of Events page for more info. Some events require registration. Registration links are provided in the event description.
