Cheap Date Night

Cheap Date Night, on the third Friday of every month, is an after-hours program at Missoula Public Library

The movie starts at 7 PM, with doors off the parking lot (Front Street side of the building) opening at 6:45. Please be on time, as after 7:15 PM you will not be able to enter the building for security reasons.

Runs 97 minutes long. A young man with Down syndrome teams up with a scruffy outlaw to travel across the Southeast, encountering colorful characters along the way. Please join us for a screening in the Large Meeting Room. 

World Wide Cinema

The WWC film screenings are free and open to the public on the second Friday of every month at MPL in the Large Meeting Room. The film begins at 6 PM. The Third Wife from Vietnam

This drama is in Vietnamese with English subtitles and runs 96 minutes long. In late 19th century Vietnam, 14 year-old May becomes the third wife to a wealthy landowner. She quickly learns that she can gain status and security if she gives birth to a male child, but her burgeoning attraction to Xuan, the second wife, puts her fragile standing in jeopardy. After observing the unfolding tragedy of forbidden love and its devastating consequences, May must make a choice to either carry on in silence or to forge a path towards personal freedom.
