Every month, MPL sponsors free public films. Showings of recently released feature films, kids films, classic movies, and international prize winners are held onsite and are free of charge. Call 721-2665 to find out about upcoming showings.

Cheap Date Night

Cheap Date Night, the third Friday of every month, is an after-hours program at Missoula Public Library

The movie starts at 7 PM, with doors off the parking lot (Front Street side of the building) opening at 6:45. Please be on time, as after 7:15 PM you will not be able to enter the building for security reasons.

Friday, June 21 at 7 PM - Captain Marvel (Runs 125 minutes)

A female pilot gains superpowers after a freak accident and uses them to help save the world alongside another superpower wielder.

World Wide Cinema

The WWC film screenings are free and open to the public on the second Friday of every month at MPL in the Large Meeting Room. Lower level doors open at 6:45 PM and the film begins at 7 PM. Please be on time, as after 7:15 PM you will not be able to enter the building for security reasons.

Friday, June 14 at 7 PM -  Over the Limit (From Germany and Poland, in Russian with English subtitles runs 93 minutes)

A nail-biting, behind-the-scenes documentary look at the grueling Russian system for training athletes and the intense physical and mental labor put into a sport that thrives on its beautiful aesthetics.
