Welcome to the Missoula Public Library Wifi system.  MPL provides two different networks for patron access:  "Open Library" and "Secure Library".

Using "Secure Library" provides better security for patrons than "Open Library" because it utilizes a security key.  That security key is "4067212665".

The library does not filter content, but it may filter access at any time to sites which are known sources of malware.  The use of the library's wifi system, though, is at your own risk.  The library assumes no responsibility for your device while using our wifi.

The library also will restrict the use of file sharing protocols such as Bittorrent, Utorrent, and others.  Use of these protocols for obtaining copyrighted material without an associated license puts the library at risk of having its Internet access shut off.  Devices identified as using file sharing protocols will be denied access to the WiFi system for an indeterminate but lengthy period.

Using library computers, and/or wifi, to copy and distribute copyright protected works may be an infringement of the copyright law (Title 17 U.S. Code).

Both "Open Library" and "Secure Library" are available for use from 7 AM to 11 PM every day of the week.
