The Story Time you know and love, now at a more convenient time! Bring your little ones and join the fun! Enjoy delightful tales, crafts, laughter, and shared moments every Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the Imaginarium on Level Two of the library. Each week is a different theme! Story Time is designed for children ages 4 and older and their caregivers.

Stellaluna Story Time with Missoula Children’s Theatre

Cast members from Missoula Children’s Theatre’s upcoming production of Stellaluna will visit the library to share the beloved story of a young fruit bat who finds herself growing up with a family of birds. We’ll read Stellaluna and a few other bat-themed stories and learn a little more about MCT’s new production. Come enjoy some stories and spend a little time with our special guests!

Spanish/English Story Time

Join us for a special story time, presented in English and Spanish! Picture books will be read in both languages, followed by a fun craft.

A Very Special Story Time: Welcome, Wilder!

Meet Wilder, the newest member of the Missoula Public Library family. Children’s Librarian Kayla Whitaker and her husband welcomed their new baby boy in July. We are all bursting at the seams with library (baby) joy, and we want to share that joy with all of you who know and love Kayla. We’ll share some stories, spend time with Kayla and her baby, and snack on delicious treats. Craft materials will be available for you to make a welcome-to-the-world message for Wilder, or anyone else you’d like to celebrate.
