Watercolor Painting

During this weekly class, local artist Robert Peltzer will help you practice and develop the skills and techniques necessary to enjoy and succeed at watercolor painting. Classes are held every Friday from noon to 2PM in the Cooper room on the Level Four. Robert teaches twice a month, with different artist filling in on other Fridays. This class is open to adults ages 18 and older. There is no fee or registration, but you must bring your own watercolor paper, paints, brushes, and a palette. Questions? HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT FOR MAY 3
For May 3, examine the following paintings by a master of color Stephen Quiller. See if Mr. Quiller’s paintings inspire you to use and combine colors more freely. Attempt a landscape painting of your own choosing, and try to adapt some of Quiller’s color techniques to your landscape painting. Click on a painting if you wish to see it in sharper focus and press your escape button to back get back out.
