Learn the basics of watercolor painting during this monthly class. 

During this monthly class, local artist Robert Peltzer will help you practice and develop the skills and techniques necessary to enjoy and succeed at watercolor painting. Classes are held the 1st Friday of each month from noon to 2PM in the Cooper room on the 4th floor. This class is open to adults ages 18 and older. NO CLASS FRIDAY THE 23rd –it is ‘Film Festival Week’

 

ANOUNCEMENT:  Missoula Public Library Administration, is changing the once-a-week class schedule to a once-a-month class schedule. Starting this March, the class will meet on the 1st Friday of each month.

HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT FOR MARCH 1

For March 1st, paint a simple or complicated cityscape. Chose the time of day or night, the season, and the weather conditions that best suit your mood. As an example of a nighttime cityscape, and/or for inspiration, you may wish to watch the following short video by Paul Jackson (CLICK HERE)
