The Newspaper Subject Index is a tool for locating articles published in the Missoulian newspaper. Reference Librarians use a controlled vocabulary to categorize articles by subject. The Index is searchable by subject, title, and publication date. The project began in 1975 and focuses on articles of interest to Missoula and Western Montana. Coverage is incomplete and records are added on an ongoing basis. For more information or assistance locating an article, please contact the Reference Department.
