America 250 Program Series: George Washington's Crash Course in Race Relations

America @ 250

On July 4, 2026, our nation will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The journey toward this historic milestone is an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future we want to create for the next generation and beyond.

As the nation marks 250 years of independence, this original Broadway production turned film reminds us that the American experiment has always been a work in progress, shaped by brilliant, flawed individuals debating the same timeless questions of freedom, power, and who gets a seat at the table..
